We do have an annual (12 month) term for all of our Plumbing Maintenance Plans, but your rates are locked in for the full year. Alternately, you can pay the low, one-time annual rate and enjoy the benefit all year!
What if I sell my home? Will my plan transfer?
Advantage and Elite memberships are fully transferable — a great value-add when selling your home.
What happens during an inspection?

Membership Terms & Conditions
Plumbing Maintenance Plan Terms & Conditions
Effective Date: April 2025
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern enrollment in and use of the Essential, Advantage, and Elite Membership Plans (collectively, “Plan” or “Plans”) offered by Leading Edge Plumbing & Rooter (“LEP,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By enrolling, the customer (“Member” or “you”) agrees to be bound by these Terms.
4.1 Eligibility & Enrollment
Plans are available to residential properties within LEP’s standard service area (50‑mile radius of Sylmar, CA). Commercial properties require a separate agreement.
Enrollment becomes active upon (a) acceptance of these Terms and (b) successful initial payment.
Plans are non‑insurance maintenance agreements and are not a warranty contract or a guarantee against all plumbing failures.
4.2 Pricing, Billing & Renewal
Monthly dues: Essential $12.99, Advantage $19.99, Elite $34.99, plus applicable taxes.
Dues are automatically charged to the payment method on file every 30 days. Annual pre‑pay options are available at published rates. Prices are locked for the first 12 months following enrollment. LEP reserves the right to adjust pricing thereafter with 30‑days’ written notice.
Plans renew month‑to‑month until cancelled by either party.
4.3 Cancellation & Refunds
You may cancel at any time by phone, e‑mail, or written notice. Cancellation is effective at the end of the current billing cycle.
Fees already paid are non‑refundable after the first 30 days of membership, except where required by law.
LEP may cancel for non‑payment, abuse of program benefits, or changes in service area, with 10‑days’ notice.
4.4 Benefits & Limitations
Benefits listed in the Membership Matrix (Section 3 above) are the only services included.
Discounts apply to LEP‑performed labor and parts only; third‑party or permit fees are excluded.
Priority response times (48 h, 24 h, ≤ 4 h) apply to covered service calls made through the designated VIP or main office lines and may be delayed by force‑majeure events (e.g., natural disasters, civil emergencies).
Complimentary services—annual drain clean, hydro‑jet, water‑heater flush, camera inspection—must be scheduled during normal business hours and cannot be traded for cash or credit. Un‑used services do not roll over.
Loyalty Credits accrue at 3 % of membership dues paid and may be applied toward qualifying replacements (e.g., re‑pipe, water‑heater install) capped at $500. Credits expire if the Plan lapses for more than 30 days.
Transferability: Advantage and Elite Plans may be transferred to a new homeowner once during escrow upon written request; Essential Plans are non‑transferable.
4.5 Exclusions
Catastrophic failures caused by acts of God, pre‑existing code violations, or misuse are not covered.
Septic systems, water filtration equipment, HVAC, gas lines beyond meter, and any work requiring excavation beyond 2 feet depth are excluded unless specifically listed as an add‑on.
LEP is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from delays or services performed.
4.6 Modifications
LEP may modify these Terms by posting updated Terms on our website and sending notice to Members’ e‑mail on file. Continued participation after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
4.7 Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any dispute shall be submitted to binding arbitration in Los Angeles County under the rules of the American Arbitration Association. Each party bears its own fees.
